When viewing the course reports, the dates the reports were last run are incorrect. The last run date shown is that of a report in a different course. Blackboard’s support reports this has been an issue since May 2014. There is no sign of a fix or a workaround. Related Pages Generating Course Reports

Email subscriptions to discussion board forums and threads are not working. Blackboard are aware of the issue. While we wait on details of a fix, you can use the Posts section of My Blackboard to view discussion board posts (as well as posts to blogs, journals, wiki edits etc). The last access date is not updating for all students. The Grade Centre and Performance Dashboard show one date (or no date at all), but it is clear students have performed additional activities within the course. The fix for this issue is available in the latest Blackboard, which we will upgrade to over the summer.

Flagged by an issue with assignment receipts, it turns out the issue is more widespread. Any email sent via Blackboard will fail, including Announcements Messages via the Send Email course tool Assignment receipts Blackboard are aware and working on a resolution. You can follow the status on the Managed Hosting service status page.  

When trying to submit work to a Blackboard assignment, an error is displayed and the work doesn’t submit. Initial investigation suggests this is an issue with the receipt which Blackboard sends when you submit work.
