It’s possible to make detailed options exceptions for specific students or groups of students.
For example, you may wish to give one student a longer time limit than the rest of the class.
Please note that exceptions can be applied after a test has been started.
This is can be useful where a time-limited test is used and a student experiences technical difficulties that have an impact on their ability to sit the test. If the tutor wishes to give extra time, a time limit exception could be applied to the individual student. When a question answer is saved, either manually or automatically, the new time limit will be applied to the students’ count-down timer. There is no need for the test to be relaunched.
