The upgrade to the April 2014 release of Blackboard broke the SignUp Lists. We’ve installed the latest version of the building block and the feature is available once more. Problem with Internet Explorer 11 and Blackboard
There is a problem with using Internet Explorer 11 and Blackboard. We have been assured that Blackboard are aware of the issue and are doing their best to fix it. In the mean time we advise to use either Fire Fox or Chrome to access Blackboard.
Known Issue – Blackboard logins
Overnight there was a problem with the Aston’s internet connection. This appears to have affected logins for any system that is hosted externally to the University which includes Blackboard. Known Issue: Double spaced emails
When sending an announcement email or an email through the system with the new web text editor, the message received is double-spaced and isn’t formatted as it appeared in the web text editor before sending. The email is still readable, and the announcement is formatted correctly when viewed in Blackboard. This will be fixed in Continue Reading…
Known Issue: Chrome and Firefox blocking Equella content
This primarily affects PDFs of book chapters scanned in by the library, but some courses will use Equella for other types of content.
