Uploading a new video into Kaltura using the Add Content button in the Content Editor may fail.
When you click the button to embed the video you have just uploaded, you may end up with either
- A blank screen
- Your browser downloading a file called
This affects Google Chrome, the new Microsoft Edge, and other Chromium based web browsers.
The video has successfully uploaded into Kaltura, you don’t need to upload it again. Instead:
- Close the Kaltura pop up and return to the Content Editor.
- Follow the steps to add an Existing Kaltura video (step 4 on the instructions). It will be listed at the top of your videos.
