File size upload limit

Blackboard will now refuse to accept any uploads greater than 2560MB / 2.56GB.

If you try, you will see the following message:

You tried to upload files that exceed the maximum upload size of 2560 MB. You can upload smaller files or link to them instead after storing them in other locations.

Students

If you are submitting large file assignments, e.g. a video, these should not be submitted directly to the assignment attempt.

Follow the instructions provided in your module – they will include information on where and how to upload.

Staff

Contact the Technology-Enhanced Learning Team with questions.

Mobile Apps

Both the Instructor and student apps have an upload of 250MB. This remains unchanged.
