Blackboard not sending emails

Flagged by an issue with assignment receipts, it turns out the issue is more widespread.

Any email sent via Blackboard will fail, including

• Announcements
• Messages via the Send Email course tool
• Assignment receipts

Blackboard are aware and working on a resolution. You can follow the status on the Managed Hosting service status page.
