Microsoft Edge: Empty files and assignments

Be careful when uploading files to assignments or content areas when using Microsoft Edge on Windows 10.

If you have the file open on your computer (e.g. in Word), you may end up submitting a file that is zero bytes in size.

Workarounds

Either

• Make sure you don’t have the file open on your computer before you go to submit your work/upload a file to Blackboard.

Or

• Use Firefox/Google Chrome to submit/upload.
