Ally Accessibility Report shows removed files

The score in the accessibility report doesn’t immediately update when you detach files from content items.

It may take over 24 hours for the score to be recalculated.

Trying to improve your Ally score?

If you have made the necessary changes needed to improve your file’s accessibility, and want your course’s Ally score to update quickly: don’t delete the file from your Blackboard course to upload a new one. Instead, upload the replacement file via Ally.

Steps

1. In your Blackboard course, click on the Ally indicator for the file in question
2. In the box on the right-hand column, either drag and drop the improved file or click Browse and upload it.
3. When the file has uploaded, it will show you the updated score for the file.
